Artists in Action Festival joins Salmon Festival
for SUPER-SATURDAY of FAMILY FUN !

Sign-up for Artists in Action now.
October 12 from 11 to 3, Weaverville’s  Main Street will be teeming with artists demonstrating their crafts.  Dance to the music of Conrad Gulch Ramblers on Angela’s Deck.  Book signing at Tammies’ Books.  Many artists will invite visitors to get their hands dirty and experience their craft.  In previous years, we have enjoyed ceramic artists building and glazing sculpture and inviting people to try the wheel. Wood carvers and fabric artists such as spinners, quilters and knitters joined the fun.  Watch glass blowing, graffiti artists doing spray paint art, many fascinating jewelers, silver smiths including Jean Lam from Gold Rush Jewelers who moved her bench onto the sidewalk to create one-of-a-kind art.  Paint a rock, chalk the sidewalk, try the fascinating craft of marbling with paint.

The Trinity County Arts Council invites all crafters to participate.  You must demonstrate your craft.  We have electricity available for those who require it.  You may also sell your art.  Artists will be placed along the sidewalks from Tammies’ Books to the Highland Art Center.

Fee to join: a quality piece of your art for our raffle.

Download Vendor Application:  Also available at the Trinity Visitor Center.

Please call Jill for questions at 530/623-2760.  I will gladly email an application.
