Trinity County Galleries, Live Performances & more

Trinity County is a showcase for original art from local artists as well as throughout California.

In Weaverville, 5 galleries  offer a variety of art  and gifts:

Weaverville is the hub of Trinity County and is home of the Trinity Alps Performing Art Center, a plush theater that seats 250 people with superior acoustics.  We have many specialty shops that sell a wide variety of art materials to support the arts industry such as Sweet Sheep Yarn and Angela's Bead Art.  Antiques and Collectibles fill several shops including Weaverville Antiques, Clutter, the Merchant's Mall, and Ryan's Store.

Traveling Downriver, Trinity County artists from Burnt Ranch, Salyer, Big Bar and surroundings area exhibit at Studio 299 Center for the Arts, a new gallery just over the county line in Willow Creek.  This is a lovely gallery with a monthly art show and artists’ reception the second Saturday of every month. We recommend that art lovers explore this gem.

Lewiston offers a rustic arts experience in the Country Peddler, an antique store and art gallery with an eclectic array of kitchen and farming-garden implements, and original paintings from extraordinarily talented Lewiston artists. The Country Peddler, located in the picturesque historic Lewiston, is open weekends and holidays.
