FORGED by FIRE FESTIVAL
June 20, 2020
We will reschedule this event June 2021, as explained:
FATHER’S DAY Saturday
, June 20, 2020, many of the most talented ceramic, glass, and metal artists as well as vendors in other specialty crafts from the North State will dazzle spectators at the 4th Annual Trinity County Art in the Alps: Forged by Fire Festival (Ceramic, Glass, Metal, & More).
Join in the activities 10am – 4pm at the Highland Art Center Meadow in Historic Weaverville.  We invite artists, students, ceramic, glass and metal enthusiasts, and anyone interested in discovering the wonders of the arts to watch insightful demonstrations by ceramic artist John Garrett and glass artist Lisa Howell (to be confirmed) from 11am to 1pm.  Experience RAKU Magic in which you glaze a ceramic bowl and watch the flames transform it into iridescent brilliance.  Live Music will fill the meadow starting at 1:30.  Artisans from the North State will be selling fine crafts. Several Hands-On Activities for all to experience from        10 – 4pm with many activities resulting in an arts keepsake.
