TCAC seeking Assistant Executive Director

TCAC 
Background
 The Trinity County Arts Council, a non-profit 501(c)(3) located in Weaverville, CA, has promoted art and creativity and supported the economy of art in all of Trinity County for more than 35 years.  TCAC supports individual artists, arts organization, produces a monthly Art Cruise with live music and multiple art exhibitions, 4 large Art/Music Festivals including  artists from the entire North State. The council co-produces art workshops and several local community activities that provide artists’ economic opportunities while insuring the well-being of our community.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION 
TCAC is seeking proposals from community-oriented individuals capable of providing artistic, technical, and administrative support to the Executive Director with the expectation that they will advance into the position of Executive Director.
Duties include support to the Executive Director in providing county-wide outreach, artistic collaboration, networking, and advocacy.  The employee will assist the director in grant writing and reports, fundraising, budget preparation, program outreach, data tracking and other technical support.   Duties will also include marketing and advertising, program development, coordination and implementation.  Employee will work closely with the Board of Directors.

The Assistant Executive Director position starts at 20 hours a week with the expectation that it will become full-time.

Starting wage: $20/hour; less if not fully qualified
