Art & Music Lessons for KIDS !
Festival of Light: Fundraiser for Arts & Music for Children
The Festival of Light in Trinity County was started to bring light into the lives of Trinity County children. When the State de-funded arts and music education for our elementary school children, Pam Yearout and Elizabeth Watson decided to take action, and developed a local fundraiser in the form of the Festival of Light: Arts & Crafts Festival in November, to provide ART & MUSIC lessons for Trinity County children. The Trinity Arts Council produces this event and supplements the funds to insure that we can offer individual art and music lessons for our kids.
Our intention for the Scholarship is to provide group or individual lessons to children who wish to explore playing a musical instrument or a media such as painting, ceramics, or fiber arts. We have instructors available to schedule after school lessons. The lessons are provided in a series that will allow the child a chance to complete a project.

Complete the application (download PDF) and email or mail to TCAC
The TCAC Scholarship Committee reviews the application and will set-up a series of 5 lessons with the instructor who teaches that craft.
Additional lessons can be considered. Contact us to discuss.
