Art in Education

Art in Education
Art in Education, K-12 is the cornerstone of our mission.
Purpose:
Insure the future of Arts Programming in Trinity County Schools
Plan:
  1. Develop and support programs that increase the visibility of our brilliant students such as "Kards 4 Kids"
  2. Provide economic relief for the Arts Program through fundraisers such as "Kards 4 Kids" and by establishing the Artists in Schools Programs in Trinity County which provides an economical opportunity to continue programs that do not have funding for full time art teachers.
  3. The Arts Council is a working model of a successful partnership with the California Department of Education’s Workability Program. We are proud to support a program that provides career awareness and work experience to special education students.

  Kards For Kids
The Trinity County Arts Council (TCAC) and Trinity County Office of Education have partnered to produce a fund raising program to support ART in the schools. The project is modeled after a successful Douglas City School project in which students created greeting cards from student art and then sold the cards throughout the county. | A Little More |

The Trinity County Arts Council has an assembly of artists who would like to share their crafts. Some crafts projects can be completed in an hour, others can take up to 3 visits to complete. Participants get to choose what crafts they would like to explore and arrange a date for the crafts person to bring the experience to them. | View Page |
